About
Hi, I’m Keith. I started this Substack after receiving a scholarship to Write of Passage for cohort 9. (For now) I’m using this as a practice space to simplify and explain all the hidden complexity I see around me.
Corporate
My colleagues view me as a James Bond meets McKinsey
I run a consultancy specializing in change management, and spent the better part of a decade designing experiences for large, continuous, and complex projects.
I architected how to securely vote for a president on the internet.
I’ve worked onsite at Facebook HQ, and learned how they engineer viral loops and shape the UX around epidemiology.
I gave a couple talks at DEFCON (largest hacker conference in the world):
The first on how to change corporate culture using Macy’s as a case study.
The second revealed how the mass social engineering effort behind cannabis legalization was really a strategic play to protect against the decoupling of the petrodollar system.
Last, what I designed for Macy’s is what Amazon patented one year later.
Creative
My close friends really know me as a creative mad scientist.
I study long wave astrological transits and map them against geopolitical risk.
I take copious pictures of street art synchronicities, make patches, and am getting back into music after a brief hiatus as a classical trained musician (piano, drums, and cello).
Whenever I travel, I typically seek out the hidden messages and areas of a place (like Cuba).
I have controversial opinions on Bitcoin.

This cohort runs through November, so you will get the first cut of my writing experiments. Expect any and all of the following:
Astrological transits and explanations
Street Art photo essays (linking astrological transits)
Macroeconomic cycle analysis
Geopolitical risk analysis from a person who almost went to go work in intelligence
Thanks for being my guinea pig and reading my thoughts 🙏.
